Tier One A or Tier One B - The Choice is Yours...

The Traditions Education Program is a tiered system. Starting with Tier One. This first Tier is offered in two versions. Make your choice based on your personal schedule and artistic interests. Both versions include the basics of color language and an introduction into the vast world of pigments, paints and artist's mediums. Tier One B includes interesting art history and six completed paintings after the style of ancient cultures. Tier One A is the fast track, and the other - Tier One B, is a more expanded and in-depth study. See detailed descriptions below...

Tier One A - Fast Track

This short online course is ongoing, register at any time and work through this self directed course at your own pace. Class materials are dedicated to painting with Traditions Artists Acrylics and Mediums. This introductory course has been designed to get the new artist off to a good start. Discover the language and management of color.

Course Goals - With over 3 hrs of video, this course is based on understanding Paint, Pigments and Mediums. The Color Wheel and Color Schemes will be explored in full. Students will learn to use the Pigment Wheel and apply mixing exercises.

Start Your Artistic Studies with this expanded Tier One Course. See the world through its ancient art forms, and cultural history! If you're a history buff, this fun course takes you on an interesting journey back to 30,000 BC and to the days of the earliest cave painting! This course is on-going. Register at any time and work at your own pace. Interact with hundreds of other students in the virtual classroom. Paint along with six instructors to complete six ancient motifs shown in the graphic below. Watch over 20 hrs of video painting lessons and enrich your painting experience.
