- Coast to Coast Convention - April 28 - May 2 - Mississagua, Ontario Canada - Traditions Education Instructor, Connie Clark hosted a booth at the show with new designs, and was there to answer questions and promote the Traditions Education program.
- We Are On Facebook - We have a presence on 'facebook' that speaks to the 'happenings' for the Traditions Education Program and other Traditions educational classes at the AAO art school. The next issue of our e-Magazine launches in May 2010 - We are very excited about bringing you this next issue. We know you will enjoy the line up for the rest of the year too! The following new design is painted in DecoArt Traditions by artist Gaby Hunter. Look for this great painting lesson and video in the next issue!
If you would like to see your Traditions work on the gallery pages of the magazine, please submit a high quality photograph of your original work and a short paragraph describing one of the techniques you have used in the painting. This is a great way to get exposure for your work. Our subscribers enjoy seeing samples of all styles and genres.

Linda Wise Designs: A Morning Still Life:
Utilizing the thought process of two of the great Flemish Masters, Luis Melendez and Pieter Claesz yet another study using the 4 umber mixes to develop the under layers. The same systematic layering of transparent colors was used to develop the "translucent" colors that you see in the final product.

Linda Wise Designs: Studio Dates
Remaining studio dates for 2010 are September, October and December. These are 6 day workshops where the student can determine just what study they wish to work on and are individually guided by Linda as they work thru the thought processes. All studies are done in DecoArt Traditions prepared for extended blending. |
